Paukan Cruises was incorporated in 2003 to develop and operate an up-market river cruise operation in Myanmar. There is no better way to visit all Myanmar than taking a "Boutique Cruise" on the Irrawaddy and the Chindwin River in the comfort of our luxury colonial river steamers. The cruise program offers also pre and post land arrangements. The three boutique ships are designed and finished as replicas of colonial river steamers.

The first inland cruise ship in Thailand
Cruise Asia Ltd. was incorporated in Thailand in early 2003 to develop and operate an up-market river cruise operation on the inland waterways of Thailand. The cruises would open up an unexploited market for larger river cruise ships operating in Thailand. Initially Cruise Asia is targeting the scenic Kwai Noi River but in the mid-term they are looking to develop additional cruises on the Mekong River using Chiang Saen in Thailand's Chiang Rai province as a base for cruises to Laos and to China.

UI Germany is sailing towards a new market with major expansion of its rivers cruise business.
TUI will thus have a total of six 'swimming hotels' with 526 cabins and capacity for 1,052 passengers. The 4*+ to 5*+ vessels will cruise along the Rhine, Main, Danube and Mosel rivers, and TUI will offer a total of 16 cruises in its summer 2011 brochure. The ships were chartered from owner and investor Premicon AG.
One of TUI's aims is to attract younger holidaymakers and move away from the sector's image as offering holidays for older persons.

In 1995 they were the first to pioneer and explore the region's great rivers and their tributaries: the Irrawaddy and Chindwin in Burma, the Mekong and Tonle Rivers in Cambodia and the backwaters of the Mekong Delta in Vietnam. These small ships can penetrate remote and otherwise inaccessible areas, cruising through beautiful landscape and along innumerable temples. Whilst Pandaw River Cruises offers a real adventure experience, travellers are cushioned with incredible comfort, fine dining, great cocktails and choice wines, not to mention extraordinary levels of service.
